Student housing comes with its perks—like a furnished apartment and easy access to campus events—but there are a few more details you need to know. Here, you’ll find the information you need about roommates, 客人, payments, and more.

Though student housing apartments are furnished, you will need to bring all the extras, 比如亚麻布, 烹饪用品, 和化妆品. You’ll find a complete list of suggested items in your room-assignment packet.
Each bedroom includes a dresser, an
extra-long full-size bed (most students use queen-size sheets), 一张桌子, 一把桌椅, 还有一个床头柜. The living room includes an entertainment center, a coffee table, and an end table.

You can match with and choose a roommate using the student housing portal. During the application process, we gather information to suggest best matches for all residents. 在传送门内, you can also search for a roommate by name (so you and your BFF can live together) or by lifestyle questions (so if you’re a night owl you won’t clash with a morning bird). Once matches are selected, you will be provided with contact information for your new roommate, or you can send them a message within the housing portal.
Within the first 10 days of moving in together, you’ll need to submit a roommate agreement. If problems should arise, we have a well-established mediation process for roommates that is 90 percent effective in resolving conflict. Through peer-to-peer resolution methods, mediation can assist with moving forward and making living situations successful.

This community is made for students who prefer an inclusive option because of gender identity and/or gender expression. 我们提供四张床, 2-bath layout or a 2-bed, 2-bath standard layout as options for gender-inclusive housing.
We match roommates of any gender with the intent of fostering a climate of positivity, 尊重, 和包容. All residents assigned to inclusive housing must 尊重 and understand gender identity and gender expression.

You may have 客人 if you have written permission from your roommates. Guests may not stay longer than 72 hours. All 客人 must be registered at the Cole Commons front desk before 8 p.m. each night and have a guest parking permit if necessary. Any guest not registered by 1 a.m. must leave student housing. Residents are responsible for their 客人 at all times and must escort them at all times. At no time shall a guest be left unattended. Students found in violation of the guest policy will face disciplinary actions, including fines up to $100. 室友 in violation of the guest policy may also face disciplinary actions and fines.
